Local 192 Fishing Tournament
-
All participants must comply with Game and Fish laws, regardless of where they are fishing.
-
You must be a UA 192 member in good standing to submit entries.
-
A time-stamped photo of the fish must be submitted within the same month the tournament is held.
-
Fish are entered and scored by length — the longest fish wins.
-
The tournament runs year-round. Biggest fish each month wins a UA 192 Champion engraved mug.
-
The member who wins the most mugs in a calendar year will receive a cooler with the hall’s logo.
-
When submitting an entry, take a clear photo showing the entire fish alongside a tape measure that clearly displays the length. Also weigh the fish in case of a tie; ties in length will be broken by weight.
-
All entries must be sent to Ben Frias at (307) 421-3168.
-
Any fish from any legal fishing location may be entered.
-
In the event of a tie in the number of monthly mugs won for the yearly cooler, the tie will be broken by the combined length of each winner’s biggest fish from every winning month.
Example:
Player #1: 24" (January) + 27" (March) = 51"
Player #2: 32" (February) + 18" (April) = 50"
Player #1 wins. -
Any disputes must be submitted before the next union meeting to be considered.
-
Entries must be submitted by midnight on the last day of the month. Submissions received after that will count toward the following month.
-
Monthly mugs will be awarded at regular union meetings. The yearly cooler will be awarded at the January union meeting.
